iPRES 2010 - International Conference on Preservation of Digital Objects

7th International Conference on Preservation of Digital Objects was hosted in Vienna in September 19-24, 2010 and brought together researchers and practitioners from around the world to explore the latest trends, innovations, and practices in preserving our digital heritage.

Our KEEP colleagues attended the conference and presented the paper about “Legal Aspects of Emulation” at the poster spotlight session.

iPRES 2010 re-emphasized that preserving our scientific and cultural digital heritage requires integration of activities and research across institutional and disciplinary boundaries to adequately address the challenges in digital preservation. iPRES 2010 also strengthened the link between digital preservation research and practitioners in memory institutions and scientific data centres.
