First Version of GRATE - Planets project

"This deliverable describes the first version of GRATE (Global Remote Access To Emulation services), one of the tools for environments in PA/5, which allows access to emulation processes run remotely via a network.

This document is intended for both project participants and technical specialists. It describes the history, design, functionality, technical environment and future work of the latest release of GRATE within the Planets project. It does not contain a user manual for the tool. Installation notes can be downloaded from the appropriate project website, together with the released software."
